TESTIMONIALS
Mathew Doherty, Downer
"This was the bravest talk on vulnerability I’ve been a part of, mate. It was awesome having you there on the day and showing everyone what it truly means to open up in the moment. Your journey is a powerful one."
TDG Environmental
"Willie’s session was unlike anything we’ve experienced in a corporate setting. His ability to be so raw and honest created a space for real reflection. It sparked conversations long after the event ended."
2025 NAIDOC WEEK - Men's Yarning Circle

As part of NAIDOC Week, we proudly hosted a powerful Men’s Yarning Circle at the Ration Shed Museum in Cherbourg. The space created allowed for open, honest conversations - many of the men sharing that it was their first time ever speaking about what they’ve carried.
It was deeply fulfilling to witness the strength and vulnerability shown in that room. Moments like these remind us why we do this work. The impact was real - and lasting, not just for the men who attended, but for the future generation watching them lead by example.
We’re incredibly grateful to all our community partners and supporters who helped make this event possible. Together, we continue to create safe spaces for healing, connection, and change.

We’d also like to sincerely thank the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) for their generous support in helping us bring this event to life. Their funding has allowed us to bring key participants and role models into the Cherbourg community—ensuring this NAIDOC Week celebration is not only memorable, but also meaningful for the young people and families involved.
